Biography

Sherri Chaba has a MFA from the University of Alberta specializing in drawing and intermedia. She was selected for the Alberta Biennial of Contemporary Art at the Art Gallery of Alberta in 2013 and in over twenty years of art practice, has received academic and professional awards for her work. Her art has been shown provincially and nationally and is included in permanent collections within Canada. Sherri’s multimedia installations entice viewers to immerse themselves in her work and are grounded in the communities and ecology where she lives.
