Biography

Sherri Chaba has a MFA from the University of Alberta specializing in drawing and intermedia. She was selected for the Alberta Biennial of Contemporary Art at The Art Gallery of Alberta in 2013 and has received academic and professional awards for her work. Her works have been shown provincially and nationally and are a part of permanent collections within Canada. Sherri’s multimedia installations are often immersive and are grounded in her experiences with the land that has been in her family for three generations.
