Biography

Sherri Chaba has an MFA specializing in drawing and intermedia from the University of Alberta and is a Lead Artist at the Nina Haggerty Center for the Arts in Edmonton. Selected for the Alberta Biennial of Contemporary Art at The Art Gallery of Alberta in 2013, Sherri has received several awards and grants.

Her works have been shown provincially and nationally and are in several permanent collections. Sherri’s multimedia installations challenge viewers to imagine new ways of considering the environment, our relationship to it, and social sustainability.
